Anya’s Hyper Mega Otaku Room

A few people have asked to see what Gundams I built, and what figures I have. I also got a few comments about wallscrolls that appeared in the background of some of my pictures, so here I’m presenting to you, my dearly beloved internet friends, a virtual tour of my SUPER OTAKU DORM ROOM!

You will see why I’m #ForeverAlone ~

First, the door.

I can say with confidence that my dorm’s door is the dorkiest door on the entire campus. I post cut-outs of my mobile suit boxes, and some duplicate Madoka trading cards that I happened to have (yes those exist, and apparently I preordered them at some point for some reason). Now let’s go in!

As you can see, my walls are decorated with many wall scrolls and more cut outs from the boxes of Gundams. On my desk lies my dualscreens and several mobile suits and figures.

Luka’s holding a beam saber! I like making my figures hold weapons from Gunpla ^^ And that’s Nagisa and Honoka in their poses from Pretty Cure’s ED that I sang a few times at karaoke :3 Really love this song! Ahhhh Let’s go! Get you~ L! O! V! E! LOVE LOVE~

Say hi to Flandre! As many of you know, Flandre is currently my favorite character of all time =) as a matter of fact, if I just came to college this year instead of last year, my name would’ve been Flandre instead of Anya. Although my mobile suits and figures can move all the time, Flandre always stays with me on my desk! And now for the army of mobile suits.

Yes, that is a figure of Jun Watarase~

The Stamen Anya Custom, refitted RX-78GP03S Stamen into the RX-78GP03P Phantasm Gundam, designed for high speed harassment tactics.

That golden mobile suit is my custom version of the 00 Raiser, repurposed UC-style as an anti-Newtype mobile suit with anti-beam coating! Designed to repel funnel fire and quickly close in for melee combat, eliminating the Newtype’s advantage!

As you can see, my desk’s shelf is very crowded ^^” Madoka’s holding a machine gun, and Marisa’s holding a bazooka.

Kyaa~ this wallscroll of Flandre is my favorite, she’s just so cute! Look at her pose and her smile!

Next up, my window sill of anime and touhou figures!

The 4 girls from Heartcatch Precure recently arrived before I had to leave my dorm, so I left them in their boxes for now until I get back.

I really love my large Touhou figures, they’re so amazingly detailed! Especially the ones made by Griffon, I want to buy them all! Some of my favorites are the Remilia ~Spear the Gungnir ver~ and Flandre ~Laevatein ver~ ones. I love Flandre, but in terms of these two figures I think Remilia’s pose looks more cool and dynamic.

Army of PreCures~ Cure Moonlight for the tall set is on my desk though.

Oh look, how nice, the RX-79(G) Gundam Ground Type and the Zaku II are working together to protect the lolis!

And my microwave isn’t safe from the figure and mobile suit invasion either! But the Astray Blue Frame falls over almost every time I open my fridge. Oh and if you’re wondering, yes, that is a metal mug from the White Base!

Here’s a full view of my shelf and the wall scrolls around it. I can imagine some of you are probably going HNGGGGH at Remilia right now ;) She’s kinda blocked by the shelf, I should probably move her up higher when I get back. Here’s the full pic.

And at the foot of my bed lies my unbuilt model kits, and all the spare parts, tools, and paint used in my production factory!

That’s my spray booth, and the foam that I use for sticking pieces on while I wait for them to dry. It’s freakin cold so I can’t open the windows for ventilation, so I don’t know when I’ll get to paint stuff again. Sad =(

How about we climb down to look beneath my bed~

That Roomba’s named Nakochi, she does a GREAT job of cleaning up my hair and small little plastic parts! Seriously, my long hair goes EVERYWHERE, and before Nakochi came I would scream out in pain every time a piece of plastic from my Gunpla pierced into my foot!

Anyways, let’s look at some of my other wallscrolls.

Instruction booklets and artbooks whee~

Here on my bedside table I recreate that fight scene from the first Gundam Unicorn movie! A melee battle between the behemoth NZ-666 Kshatriya and a grunt in a Stark Jegan. Despite the large difference in machine capability, the unknown pilot still gave an honorable and courageous performance (not to mention downright AWESOME)! Of course, I had to put my figure of Marida Cruz in front of the Kshatriya!

And now it’s time for….. THE BED!

Ahh, my cozy little bed. Full of pillows, several blankets, and surrounded by pictures of cute girls. There also seems to be a Kyubey invasion underway ~_~

Kyaaaaaa Flandre! With her sly expression! I miss her so much TT^TT won’t see her again until I get back from winter break. Flandre……..

This is Flandre’s other expression, she’s so cute…. I absolutely love her….. And I’m not going to show the rest of this side of her for obvious reasons ~_~
