QuoteComic #6: Programming Ethics
This comic was done entirely in GIMP!!! My pen tablet can be a pain in the butt at times DX
CS folks will appreciate this, and non-CS folks will probably have a laugh =] (assuming my humor isn’t crap)
Found this quote on StackOverflow a long time ago, and it’s been sitting in my Facebook Profile collection of quotes for a long time.
“It should be noted that no ethically-trained software engineer would ever consent to write a DestroyBaghdad procedure. Basic professional ethics would instead require him to write a DestroyCity procedure, to which Baghdad could be given as a parameter.” – Nathaniel S Borenstein

QuoteComic #5: Bisexual Geeks
This was another one that I drew during the power outage, but I used GIMP to insert the words instead of the usual draw-on-paper. It’s my own quote again, I really should use more sources.
“The world needs more bisexual hot geeks. Specifically, my college does.” – Anya.Fennec
No one at my college has the same interests as I do. At least no one that I know of. It really sucks. I’m the only one squealing with joy when Madoka comes out, and the only one that gets excited when a batch of Gundam models arrive from Amazon.

QuoteComic #4: Handgun Legalization
I drew this while sitting on the floor in the hallway with my notebook propped on my knees during the power outage, which is why the drawing is really crude.
“Really hope Arizona legalizes handguns on city buses. So tired of requesting a stop by pulling that little cord.” – Stephen Colbert (@StephenAtHome)
Anyone know how to link to a single tweet?
For some reason I can’t find a way to easily draw straight lines in GIMP. I have a pen tablet, so I’m toying with the idea of making these comics directly on my computer instead of snapping a picture with my phone (don’t want to walk all the way to Hicks Center in this cold weather to scan).
