Continuing on from my previous post, this is another that features “the songs of the moment” that are prominent in my mind.

A Moonlit Fantasy – Jumping on the iM@S Shipping Bandwagon
In case you haven’t heard, this trend started off with a discussion abut favorite iDOLM@STER characters on twitter, which turned into shipping various people with various characters. This turned into 2DT‘s series of Idols in Love: The Blogosphere x The Idolm@ster where he picks various people to be shipped with different characters (part 1, part 2, part 3), which inspired Krizzlybear‘s Imaginary Dates where he tries a different approach by writing about himself going on a date with each of the characters to check how compatible he is with each of them (part 1, part 2).
Now in my twist of the trend, to be original I’m writing a longer detailed version of a theoretical date with just my favorite character Takane. Yup, this is going to be a delusional post about a ‘date’ with a 2D character. Written story-style (this is going to be so awkward writing about myself in third person) to make it different and unique from Krizzly’s posts, for SCIENCE!
This is going to be interesting, as I don’t really understand personalities (neither for 3D or 2D people, or even myself) so this might be totally wrong. And my perception of myself might be totally skewed (BOTH 2DT and Krizzly said I’d be most compatible with Ritsuko, which shocked me – they said I am hardworking but one of the first things I say when I describe myself is lazy!). Oh and I think I inherited a hidden playboy gene or something that seems to only activate around love interests and makes me instinctively ‘smoother’. Let’s see how this goes, and whether it triggers CasanovAnya!

12 Days of Anime, Day 12 Final: Favorite Girls of the Year!
If I have a favorite character in a show, it makes me enjoy the show much more. When I say favorite, I mean it in a subjective sense, where you have an emotional tie with the character. Or to put it colloquially, like a waifu but not exclusive nor necessarily as extreme – someone I fangirl over. In addition to the story and the great things of a show, I also look forward to her appearance. I love seeing her smile, I’m interested in knowing more about her, I take screenshots, I hunt for fanart, and I like to see her in happy situations (sad touching scenes are also good, but it hurts). My experience with a show is greatly enriched when I really like one or more of the girls – and yes, my favorite characters are always girls, it’s very rare for me to be emotionally attached to a guy, both 3D and 2D (not impossible though, so if for some weird reason I have a secret male admirer don’t give up ;P ).
Of course, this doesn’t mean that a good show that doesn’t have a character I like is bad, and just because I really like a character doesn’t make a crap show good (though crap shows tend to have crappy characters anyways).

12 Days of Anime, Day 10: Azusa’s Wedding Dress? Hi~LARITY! Subversion of Believable Plot
At the time of writing this post, I JUST finished the 8th episode of The iDOLM@STER. This is the most enjoyable, fun, and hilarious single episode of anime I’ve watched in a really long time! Even if you’re not a fan of The iDOLM@STER, you should at least watch just this episode for all the hilarity =)
The episode starts of with Azusa, Makoto and Miki having a photoshoot for a wedding magazine, with Azusa looking OH SO BEAUTIFUL in her graceful wedding dress.
