Since WordPress’ media management and photo uploading kinda sucks, I decided to upload the pics to my album on Google+. This model took a really long time, since I painted every single piece. The color scheme is mostly the same, but since the manufacturing defects looked ugly especially on dark-colored models I airbrushed over them. I made a few mistakes here and there, but overall I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

I added some gold and silver markings to some areas to improve the details, and this was the first time I used water-slide decals. They work a lot better than dry-transfers, since those often break into disaster.

I also tried placing IO pins in the thrusters for added details. I  used a head mod that allows the face to be slid in and out, so I can glue, sand, and airbrushed the head to remove the seam line. That’s all of the major things I did on this model, I think? Right now its the one that I’m most proud of ^^ Go check the other pics out in my gallery!
